We don’t have a pool. And this is the time of year when I really begin to whine about that fact. It was close to 100 today and I called Anne to see if I could come over for a swim with the dogs. She agreed and I was there by 10:30. We call her house the “Doggie Day Spa” because the dogs can run around in her back yard and have fun… and then Daisy gets to relax in the house and curl up on the couch to sleep while Charlie plays outside with Molly and swims in the pool. It’s great fun. Molly (Anne’s dog) is an excellent swimmer. She makes it look effortless. Charlie on the other hand is a different story. He doesn’t have Molly’s experience or confidence. It was fun though to see him become more relaxed as the day went on. By the time we left he was venturing out into the deep end and even jumping in a bit. A great way to spend a hot afternoon.
