Orientation

The next 12 months will be full of “lasts” for our family.  Steel is beginning his senior year and with that comes a gradual change in life and lifestyle for all of us.  Today, he left for his “last” Orientation for high school.  This will be the last time he has school pictures taken… and the last time I’ll have to sign permission slips and field trip forms… the last time someone else will make decisions on his class schedule.

I’m thankful for the experience though.  Thankful for the opportunity to start the school year off right by getting all of the “details” out of the way before classes start.  The chance to review the schedule, take care of the paperwork and purchase the necessary items before the first day of classes on Monday.
