Every Thursday night during the football season, the parents and fans of Central Catholic Football get together for the Gridiron Dinner. The meals are hosted by different families each week and are a great way to get to know fellow parents the coaches and to feel like a part of the program. The social hour starts at 6:00, dinner at 7:00 and at 8:00 we go into the locker room. Once inside, we get a re-cap of the previous week's game as well as in injury report and a preview of what to expect from the next game. I really enjoy these dinners. I get to visit with parents as well as staff and a few alumni (once they turn 21.) It helps to build the positive anticipation for the game.
