We have a tradition of dressing the head football coach for the awards banquet every year.  Since he lives so far away, he comes to our house to change clothes after they finish setting up the tables and chairs in the gym.  Every year we discuss the attire and argue over wearing a tie.  (Coach is not a guy who gets dressed up too often.) I keep telling him that he can't expect the boys to wear ties if he is not willing to wear one himself.  We repeat the conversation EVERY YEAR and I always win.  The catch is that we then have to get his collar closed and the tie around his neck.  After the first attempt (3 years ago) I purchased a few collar extenders to make the job easier.
