What I'm Doing at 20:11 in 2011... Well... once again... I'm learning a life lesson. Never say never. Those of you who know me well will be shocked by tonights post. I never imagined myself in this position. At 8:11, I found myself in the Hilmar High School weight room, having completed (without vomitting or crying) my very first, EVER session of Boot Camp.
Did it feel like I was in the midst of Hell? Yes, at times it did. But I did survive and learned a few things along the way. This Boot Camp is run by Hilmar's Football Coach Frank Marques. He's always been very nice to me, even though we have been rivals for many, many years. I really do like him, but I can't help but wonder if he got a bit of pleasure out of kicking my ass tonight.
In tonight's photo is Anne (who talked me into this adventure) and my two new friends Dominic and Lucas Dias... (Twins, but I'm not sure which is which.)
This camp is 6 weeks long... 4 days a week. (Although I won't be there on Mondays - so only 3 days a week for me.) I did A LOT of modifying today... I've got a long way to go, but I'm sure it will be worth it. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. (Right?)
