I told Sierra today that I felt like I was on an episode of "The Swan." I finally, (finally) got to bring a pair of contact lenses home to try for a week. This trial is different because I had to learn to put them in and take them out by myself. During all of the trials they would do this for me. I've really been nervous about this training, but I think I did pretty well. For me it's much easier to put the on my eyes. I still struggle a bit with the removal. I'm not sure if I like them or not. Although my vision is better with them rather than without them, they are still not as good as glasses. I guess now I'm trying to decide between the lesser of two evils. Getting over the hurdle of putting them in and taking them out is a huge accomplishment for me. I've always been a little grossed out about anything to do with eyeballs. I hope they work out... I really do. I just don't know. But at least now I've given it a try.
