Air-Porter

Steel flew home today for the Thanksgiving holiday. He had classes today so he couldn't leave until later. Actually, much later... 9:05pm with an arrival at 10:30. I thought this would keep us out of the holiday traffic but I was wrong. The freeways were clear but the airport was very busy... Everyone waiting to in line for the arrivals. But it's all worth it. What an impressive sight to see him standing at the curb, with no aids. I started to get out to help with the suitcase, but he was walking to the car, carrying the case and throwing it into the back before I could get out of my seat.

Gratitude swelled my heart and put a huge lump in my throat. God is good... and his grace is so evident in Steel's recovery. It's really wonderful to see him home again... healing and getting back to normal.
