I don't pay too much attention to feelings. They are too easily influenced by my hormones, how much sleep I got and what I ate for lunch. All too often we can get caught up making decisions based on feelings and those choices don't last because our feelings change. It is their nature. Good, bad or indifferent, feelings change constantly. Feelings,however will not be ignored. Sometimes you're going to feel happy and sometimes you're going to feel sad or maybe just blah... and you might not even know why. It's just the way it is and it's perfectly normal.
There are a few things that you need to remember when you are feeling sad, blah or downright depressed.
1. It won't last forever. Things change and the bad usually don't stick around too long. Hang in there...
2. Doing the right thing regardless of your feelings is the true test of character.
3. If all else fails, make another choice. Do something to change your mood. Go for a walk, do something fun or better yet... do something kind for someone else.
