Hey Kid: Randomly Kind

Practice random kindness.  Do it as often as you can... every time you get the opportunity to do a simple, nice thing... do it.  I promise you won't be disappointed.  This can be as simple as holding the door open for someone walking into a store or paying the bill for someone at a restaurant. One of my favorites is to pay for the order of the car behind me in the drive-thru line.  It's a simple gesture and only costs a couple of bucks, but I know from experience it can make someone's day.  (Starbucks is my favorite.)

Not all kindness costs money.  Most of the time the acts that are most appreciated are the simplest including a friendly smile.

Since we're on the subject... For this to really work, you must be the grateful recipient of random acts of kindness too.  Appreciate it when it happens to you and make sure you pay it forward.
