My mother told me "A woman's best accessory is a well dressed man." Not only have I found this statement to be true, it has made me appreciate the effort Chief puts into his appearance. (Even if I tease him incessantly about his hair.) So, if you are a young man, be aware of the impact you have on people simply from your appearance. Make sure you are clean, well groomed and dressed appropriately. I will tell you, as a woman, there are few things more irresistible than a man that smells good.
If you are a young woman, find a man that takes care of himself and his appearance. If he doesn't care, you shouldn't bother with him. You won't change his attitude on this one. Trust me. This doesn't give you free reign to look like a shlep yourself. (Believe me, I've tried to pull it off.) The same rules apply to you too.
Remember, the man is an accessory, he's not the entire ensemble.
