Hey Kid: Believe in Miracles

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

― Albert Einstein

Believe in miracles.  Life is a lot more fun this way.  When you start looking at everything around you with this frame of reference, the whole world changes into a better place.  Nothing is impossible.  Nothing.  And with this new knowledge your capacity for hope will sky-rocket and so will your happiness and well-being.  Trust me.  It works.

A few years ago I wrote a daily blog on blessings. (2009) I took note of just one blessing each day and wrote about it with no repeats.  When I first started, it wasn't always easy to recognize something new.  As time passed, my "vision" got better and I was able to see an abundance and then became filled with topic ideas.  The same theory will work for you and miracles.  I promise.

I'm reminded of one of my favorite songs from the animated story of Moses called "The Prince of Egypt."   -- Read the words and then look around you.  I think you'll find you too were moving mountains long before you knew you could.

Many nights we've prayed  with no proof anyone could hear  In our hearts a hopeful song  We barely understood  Now we are not afraid  Although we know there's much to fear  We were moving mountains  Long before we ever knew we could

There can be miracles  When you believe  Though hope is frail  It's hard to kill  Who knows what miracles  You can achieve  When you believe  Somehow you will  You will when you believe

In this time of fear  When prayer so often proved in vain  Hope seemed like the summer birds  Too swiftly flown away  Yet now I'm standing here  With heart so full I can't explain  Seeking faith and speaking words  I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles  When you believe  Though hope is frail  It's hard to kill  Who knows what miracles  You can achieve  When you believe  Somehow you will  You will when you believe
