Hey Kid: Relax
To find happiness, you’re going to have to learn to relax. Each one of us is different and what works for me may not work for you. Figure it out and practice it often. It’s helpful to have several tricks up your sleeve, but he key is to know when to use them. I do not take life too seriously. Some may say this is a character flaw, but I see it as a survival technique. (After all, no one gets out alive.) If you keep your life, your work, your relationships and your responsibilities in perspective it makes it easier to keep a level head. This is the first step to true relaxation from the very start.
Take a deep breath and start today. Be quiet and still and let your mind and body rest, even if it’s only for a few seconds. Just like everything else, the more you practice, the better you’ll get at it.
