Hey Kid: Investment
I don't think I've written to you about money yet. This is probably due to the fact that I'm not very good at handling my own. I don't feel confident in this area of my own life, how can I dish out advice to you? However there are a few things I've learned along the way. Money can't buy happiness, it only buys choices. It doesn't matter if you have a little or a lot, money will always need to be managed. Take the time to learn how to invest. Spend your money where it will do the most good, and hopefully gain in value. Sometimes these gains cannot be measured, but they are benefits none the less. Invest in you. Invest in your education, your skills, your life experiences, and in your personal relationships. Buy things that will more money for you in the future. Save for rainy days and retirement. Both are inevitable. All of those fancy clothes, designer purses, and concert tickets won’t help you when you’re old and broke. Time is on your side at this point. Use it to your advantage. Wise decisions now will give you more choices in the future.
