Hey Kid: Gender Bias
I have a confession to make. When it comes to work and personal relationships, I have a real, true, gender bias. I prefer men. You can make up your own mind. All I’d like to say is to give men a chance. That does not mean that I don’t know and love some extraordinary women. I know and love several. It’s just a preference. I seem to be able to relate and work with men much easier than I do with women.
And since we’re on the topic, I’d like to point out that many women seem to feel the opposite. I have known quite a few “men haters” in my lifetime and I have always thought that behavior was the woman’s personality flaw, not the men that she despised. In other words, hating men says more about the woman than it does about the men she hates.
Men are awesome. I’m talking in a broad sense, general terms. Men don’t hold grudges, they don’t pout (normally) and they are fairly easy going. Most of the time, they are honest and straight forward. They just seem to be more genuine and trustworthy. Traits like that make it easy to build and maintain relationships.
