I came across this photograph last summer and it instantly became a favorite. It was taken at my brother's (Craig, pictured) wedding in Logan, Utah. Leaning up against his favorite truck is my dad, congratulating his son. The "photobomber" is my nephew Chet and he's very proud of the rubber band in his hand. These were not "tuxedo wearing" men and it's a darn shame because they looked fantastic. More often than not, they'd be found in work clothes, covered in dust from some construction site. But this was a special occasion and my dad never frowned upon appropriate attire.
Dad's smile is infectious. You can see the pride and joy in his face and I can imagine the very firm handshake between him and second-born son.
