I love quotes... and when a quote is displayed in an attractive graphic, I'm hooked. I LIKE and SAVE as quickly as possible. The camera roll on my iPhone is filled with such images. I'm a collector. I've been seeing a lot about writing lately... and it is not coincidence that so many of the quotes I've looked at have been directed at what happens when a writer doesn't write.
If a story is in you, it has got to come out. -- William Faulkner
A non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity. -- Franz Kafka
The worst thing you write is better than the best thing you did not write.
Ok. Ok. I get the hint. God will use any means to get my attention. I know I need to write, I'm just not sure what it is God wants me to write about! I've even thought about just sitting down with no pre-conceived ideas, saying a prayer and trusting that the words would come. That idea is both thrilling and terrifying at the same time. So I have not done it. Yet. I'm not sure if I'm afraid it will work, or that it won't.
Time to get over it.
