2017 Kickoff of #soupsuppersunday

It's that time of year again... #soupsuppersunday will begin this Sunday, September 24, 2017.  Show up between 4-7:00pm for a bowl of soup.  It really is that simple.

During the cooler months of the year, I make a big pot of soup on Sundays.  A few years ago, I realized I always made too much soup and thought it would be great if people came over to share it with me.  I started sharing the invitation on social media and thus began our tradition of #soupsuppersunday.  I make soup and we eat it until it's gone.  If no one shows up, we have leftover soup for the rest of the week.  Win. Win.

Still have questions?

Q:  Are you serious? A: YES!  I wouldn't invite you over if I wasn't serious.  It's a standing invitation.  I really, really want people to come over for soup.

Q: Does anyone ever show up? A:  Most of the time, but there is always room for more.  (Most people don't believe me.)

Q: What's the catch? A:  No catch.  Honest.  I just figured I always have extra soup so why not share?!  I won't ask for money, donations or make you sit through a network marketing presentation.

Q:  Do I have to bring anything? A:  Just your appetite and sense of humor.

Q:  What's the dress code? A:  Extremely casual.  (You'll probably find me in my fuzzy pajamas.)

Q:  Can I get the recipe? A: YES!  But you have to attend a #soupsuppersunday at least once.

Q:  Where's the menu? A:  The soup selection varies from week to week (depending on my mood.)  I'll post the days selection on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter every Sunday morning.  Or you can always call me to see what I'm serving that day.  On Twitter: (The easiest way to see the latest news about me.  And no, you don't have to have a Twitter account to view my "Tweets.")  On Facebook: (Posts are public, but you must have a Facebook account to view.)

Or... you can just check back here www.kellirocha.com to see the my Instagram posts on the right side of the page.

Q: Where do you live? A: If you need the address, contact me through the usual channels:  Cell phone, home phone, Facebook, text, Tweet, email, smoke signal, etc.  I'm easy to find.
